When my hairstylist, Kaitlyn Rempel, decided start a new business of providing salon services in the homes of her clients, I offered to help with her website and other marketing materials so she could get the word out about her business.
I designed her logo, business cards, flyers, door-knockers which helped establish herself professionally, build her brand recognition, and her grow her client base. With the knowledge that I have from school I assist her with her marketing. She's been able to reach her target audience, which are women between the ages of 25 and 35. by being active on Pinterest and Instagram. With her profile on Facebook she can further establish Hair on Location's credibility.
It took many months of writing the content and designing her site, with Wix, before it was finally launched. I update pages on a seasonal basis to ensure that the content is relevant to the user. Since Google is the most used search engine I implemented and effective SEO so that Hair on Location can be found. I am also able to track and analyze the data with Google Analytics in order to improve the reach, revenue, and readability. With the data I am able to recommend to Kaitlyn ways to promote services, determine where users are coming from, how to keep them engaged, as well as track campaigns.
